Media to me is expression; how a person expresses his or her ideas to the world. It shows the world who and what you are through the use of music, film, art, words, etc. I like to use the tool of music and film to express who I am. Music to me is pure originality; using your voice or using your body to play an instrument is like letting a person see a part of you that can’t be explained in words, and to me, that is the core personality of me that I want people to see. Film is the same way; watching one is like watching a story through eyes of different people. Tim Burton is a director that I admire most because his movie expresses a world that only he can create. I’d like my work to be the same way, something one can watch and know that it was me who made it without having to watch the credits. I want to be someone a person would be interested in because of how original my past work was, and come see my new work from that. I believe that individuality is what the media needs the most now, and I’d like to be someone in the media to help start the trend.
